For example, if a fire risk is suspected the Accountable Person(s) for the building must be able to access information on all wall and floor build ups, sprinkler systems and fire escapes at a moment’s notice. Those records must include any changes that have been made or maintenance works carried out since the building’s completion.

Can I access Golden Thread data after the project is finished?
Every Gsite subscription allows you to have five concurrent projects. Once a project is finished, it is archived securely and kept accessible for whenever you need it. That makes Gsite a simple way to comply with the Golden Thread requirements in the present and the future.
Accessing Golden Thread information from an archived project won’t reactivate the project either, so you don’t have to worry about going over your project limit and incurring additional charges.

Can I share Golden Thread information once I hand the site over?
Once a contractor has finished on site and handed everything over, Golden Thread responsibility transfers to the Accountable Person(s) working for whoever manages the building. They will require all construction information, including all updated and amended documents, to use as the basis for their ongoing Golden Thread monitoring.
Gsite stores the documents needed indefinitely and allows you to transfer over all relevant documents to the Accountable Person(s) once you have completed work so they have the complete, up to date records.
